Marilyn Bilodeau

November 16, 1952~August 16, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Agnes Bilodeau, 72, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who passed away peacefully in her home on August 16, 2025. Marilyn was born on November 16, 1952, to George and Florence Blake.

Marilyn was predeceased by her father, George, in 1987 and her mother, Florence in 2002. She is survived by her husband, Robert of 55 years, her sister, Patricia Garofolo and husband Gary, her brother, George Blake and wife Nancy, her children, Robert Bilodeau Jr and wife Julia, Bryon Bilodeau and girlfriend Alicia, Michelle Bilodeau and fiancé Hebon, Michael Bilodeau and wife Teresa, Kristen Barnes and husband Will. Marilyn also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Brianna, Dante, Nick, Alexandra, Kayla, Kylee, Tianna, Natalie, Dylan, Devyn, Kelsy; great-grandchildren Harper, Drew, Aubree, Brantley, Cailynn. She is also survived by many other beloved family members.

Marilyn was a courageous and inspirational soul—a true ball of fire whose kindness, humor, and strength carried those around her through life’s ups and downs. She had a fierce, outspoken wit that could lift spirits and lighten even the heaviest moments. Her laughter was contagious, and her love was boundless. A woman whose presence lit up every room and whose love left a lasting imprint on everyone lucky enough to know her.

A devoted wife, Marilyn helped run a successful family business alongside her beloved husband. But her greatest accomplishments, and the ones she held closest to her heart, were the roles of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the loudest and proudest cheerleader at her children’s sports games, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Marilyn’s life was a shining example of love, loyalty, and embracing every moment. She gave her whole heart to her family, cherished her friendships, and found joy in every adventure—whether setting sail on a cruise or testing her luck at the slot machines. Her spirit was unstoppable, her love unwavering.

She leaves behind family and friends who adored her—and who will forever feel the space her absence leaves. Marilyn will be desperately missed, but her legacy of love, laughter, and fire will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held for Marilyn on Friday, August 22, 2025, 11 AM, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford.
